Car Survey

We observed the colour of each car that passed us in 10 minutes.
We found out that silver cars(22) were  twice as popularas the next most popular car colour black (11).
Neither pink nor yellow cars are a favourite of Cavan folk!

Traffic Survey

We are learning about Transport in Science and Geography. We conducted a survey outside our school. We found that cars were the most popular mode of transport followed by SUVs.

Thankfully it was slightly easier to count the number of vehicles that passed us.

Dance Class

We are learning a dance to the song Bills.

Art

Tonal Collage
We mixed paint with white paint to create lighter shades of that colour.
We then mixed paint with black paint to create darker shades of that colour.
We painted strips of paper and then cut them into squares.
We created a collage with these squares.

Colour Mixing

Colour Mixing

We learned that the three primary colours are blue, yellow and red. We mixed each of these colours with another and discovered that:
blue + yellow = green
yellow + red = orange
red + blue= purple

These new colours are called secondary colours.
